Collectors and resellers are in a state of chaos as a result of the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s (TCG) 151 Blooming Waters Premium Collection’s unexpected early release at a few Costco locations.

Some Costco stores started selling the collection before its official release date of February 7, 2025, which led to desperate attempts to get the highly sought-after item.

Customers fighting for the few available items have reportedly engaged in physical altercations. Social media videos show people acting aggressively, stealing goods from other people and, in certain situations, getting into physical altercations.

Discussions in the Pokémon community have been sparked by these incidents, and many people are worried about the declining manners of collectors.

The Blooming Waters Premium Collection’s potential resale value is one factor driving the fervor surrounding it. Although $59.99 is the suggested retail price, the product has been listed for as much as $130 on secondary markets like eBay.
